Attarintiki Daredi gets ‘U’ certificate, to release on Aug 9

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (): Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming movie Attarintiki Daredi has been issued a ‘U’ certificate by the censor board. The film’s release has been postponed by a couple of days and Attarintiki Daredi will hit the screens on August 9.

The censor board has awarded a clean ‘U’ certificate rating for Atharintiki Daaredi without a single cut in the movie. The officials at the board said this movie stands as the best among family entertainers of the recent times.

The reports about the movie say the first half of the movie is totally filled with hilarious comedy while the second half is filled with good sentimental scenes. On the whole, the movie has received a blockbuster status from the censor board officials.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan’s movie was slated to release on 7 August. Now, the makers have confirmed that the film will be screened on 9 August.

The reason for the postponement in the release date of the movie is not known. But rumours say that the makers were put to pressures due to the tense political situation in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Reports from media say some parties have said that they would not allow mega films to be screened.

Atharintiki Daaredi is directed by Trivikram and is produced by BVSN Prasad in association with Reliance Entertainment. Samantha and Praneetha have romanced Pawan Kalyan in this family entertainer. Veteran actress Nadiya has played aunt for Pawan Kalyan. Bollywood actor Boman Irani has played a crucial role in the film.

Releasing on August 9, the family entertainer is all set for a big clash with two other films of big stars that are releasing on the same date.

Shahrukh Khan’s “Chennai Express” is all set to have a grand worldwide release on 9 August. CE was initially set for 8 August, which was pushed by a day.

On the other hand, Tamil actor Vijay’s most-awaited film “Thalaivaa” also releases on August 9. The Telugu dubbed version of the film titled “Anna Born to Lead” is also releasing simultaneously with the Tamil version.

All the three films are said to be commercial entertainers and will all witness a big clash at the box office.
