Mumbai, July 17 (): KBC 7, seventh edition of popular game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all gearing up to show a grand start, with the latest edition getting the new slogan, “No learning, no winning”.
In the first promotional trailer of the forthcoming game show, megastar Amitabh Bachchan says if you stop learning in life, you will stop tasting victory.
The communication campaign for the new edition of the show, which will be beamed on the small screen Tuesday 8 p.m, is centred on the theme – “Seekhna bandh toh jeetna bandh”.
In promotional video, a lady named Mrs. Dhingra is introduced, who decides to become a wedding planner. She thinks that at her age learning new things has no meaning. Subsequently, she meets with lots of misjudgements in her business and faces a heavy loss. Then she thinks, “Kaash kuchh seekh liya hota (wish I would’ve learnt something)”.
Bachchan comes into frame at this stage and by quoting her as an example urges people to continue learning throughout life. He points out that there is no age for learning. This promotional video is also available on-line on the official website of KBC.
The earlier versions of the show had slogans like, Koi Bhi Sawaal Chota Nahin Hota (no question is insignificant), Koi Bhi Insaan Chota Nahi Hota (no person is smaller than the other) and Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dilata Hai (only knowledge helps you get your rights).
The seventh edition of KBC will be aired on Sony Entertainment in end August or early September. KBC is based on the UK game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’.
Amitabh hosted the first season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” in 2000. After a gap of few years, he again returned to host its second season. The third season, in 2007, was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan .
