Box office success bash : Ranveer, Sonakshi celebrate Lootera’s success

Mumbai, July 16 (): Lootera, directed by Vikramditya Motwane and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, has opened to rave reviews from critics across the board and also has excelled in its box office collection. The cast and crew of ‘Lootera’ celebrated the success of the movie at Escobar on Sunday.

Sonakshi’s father, actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha, was also present at the success party along with his wife Poonam Sinha. Sinha flew down to Mumbai just to be part of his daughter’s celebration. He said he would fly back to Delhi the very next day. Director Vikramaditya Motwane and his wife Ishika Mohan were the first to arrive at the celebration venue.

Ranveer Singh was the star of the evening as he set himself on fire on the dance floor. He was dressed in a blue t-shirt and denims and a maroon cap.

Sonakshi Sinha, who was dressed in a white top and black pants, with loads of make-up, joined with Ranveer and set the stage on fire with her moves.

Other prominent figures, who were present at the success bash were Zayed Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Divya Datta, Arif Zakaria, Tanisha Mukherjee amongst others.

Along with Ranveer and Sonakshi, Shahid too burned the dance floor to Badtameez dil, Tamma Tamma and Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s numbers. Shahid was even heard saying, “I like Honey Singh”.

Divya Dutta who played Sonakshi’s maid in ‘Lootera’ garnered more compliments for her performance as Farhan Akhtar’s sister in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ then for her cameo role in ‘Lootera’.

Sonakshi, who has made the wonderful lady role in Lootera, has some important films in line to release. She will be seen in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara along with Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan and in Rambo Rajkumar with actor Shahid Kapoor.

Meanwhile, actor Ranveer Singh also has big releases coming his way. Ram Leela with Deepika Padukone and Gunday with Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor are in the pipeline.
