Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 : Aarti Chabria eliminated

Mumbai, July 15 (): Bollywood actress Aarti Chhabria is the latest participant to be evicted from the sixth edition of the famous dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Aarti had been featuring in the bottom three contestants in the dance reality show for three consecutive weeks. Her stint in the show finally came to an end on Saturday. She lost the face-off round to actor Karanvir Bohra.

At the show, Aarti had been performing various dance forms and was appreciated for her expressions and grace. But, her persistent pain due to an injury dominated her passion for dancing in the last few weeks, she said.

The 30-year-old actress said that it was her dream to perform in front of dancing diva Madhuri Dixit. She told she grew up watching Madhuri Dixit and used to imitate her dance moves and eye movements. She had also learnt many new dance forms from her.

The actress started her journey on the show as a moderate performer but gradually proved her determination with some brilliant dance shows with choreographer Cornell.

Mantra recently made a wild entry at Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6. Mantra paid tributes to Kishore Da with a new dance form in Saturday’s episode. He performed Broadway Jazz on Late Kishore Da’s melodious songs ‘Nakhre Waali, Hum The Woh Thi and Chatur Naar’.

Mandra was very excited to perform on Kishore Da’s songs, he said that he and Kishore Da have a Bengal connection. He was known for his versatility and it was a great pleasure to perform to his songs.

“Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6″ is being judged by director-producer Karan Johar, choreographer-director Remo D’Souza and dancing diva Madhuri Dixit.

Last weekend, four new celebrities – Mukti Mohan, Sana Saeed, RJ Mantra and actor Karan Patel joined the dance reality show as wild card entrants.

Others fighting for the title of the show are Karanvir, Drashti Dhami, Siddharth Shukla, Shaan, actress-dancer Lauren Gottlieb, and “India’s Got Talent” winners Sonali and Sumant.
