Assistant Central Intelligence Officer – Grade II/Executive recruitment 2013

New Delhi, July 15 (): Indian Nationals are notified that online applications are welcome for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Executive, and General Central Service Group-‘C’, in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

Description of Post

Name of the post          : Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Executive

Number of vacancies  : 750 (UR-380, OBC-202, SC-112 & ST-56)

Classification               : Group ‘C’, Non-gazetted/Non-Ministerial

Age Limit: 18-27 years

For SC/ST candidates   – upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years

For OBC candidates      -3 years

Essential Qualification

Candidates should posses Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University and should also posses knowledge of computers.

Pay Scale

Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (PB-2) (Plus admissible Central Government allowances)

Note: physically handicapped candidates cannot apply for the above mentioned post. Number of vacancies is provisional and can probably change. Eligibility of the candidates regarding age and educational qualification will be checked on the closing date.

Candidates must hold the graduation certificate on or before the closing date.  Final result will be revealed on or before the closing date, i.e. 12.08.2013 (till midnight).

Service Liability

Since the post involves All India Service liability, candidates who wish to serve anywhere in India can only apply for the post.

Candidates are requested to mention correct information as wrong information anywhere in any column might lead to confusion and rejection later.

At the time of registration, candidates are requested to upload their photograph and signature. Candidates have to submit only one application. Candidates can also take the print out of the Registration Slip and can note down their registration number and Roll Number for future reference.
