CSA willing to ‘amicably’ resolve scheduling issues over India’s Proteas tour with BCCI

Johannesburg, July 11 (ANI): Cricket South Africa (CSA) has expressed its willingness to deal with any disagreement from its Indian counterpart over the schedule of matches on India’s tour for the upcoming series starting in November.

According to Sport24, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wants changes to fixtures already released by CSA, with BCCI interim chief Jagmohan Dalmiya saying that India is unhappy with the uneven gaps between the three Tests.

Dalmiya felt that a two-day break between the first and second matches and eight days off between the second and third was too uneven, adding that seven one-day internationals are too many.

However, the South African cricket board said that BCCI is welcome to raise any issues over the dates of matches on India’s tour, adding that any disagreement will be dealt with amicably between the two national bodies. (ANI)
