Aishwarya Rai to make a comeback on silver screen

Mumbai, July 4 (): Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who had been on a long break from films due to her pregnancy, childbirth and baby care, now appears all fit and fine and set to make a comeback on silver screen.

Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Guzaarish in 2010 alongside Hrithik Roshan, before she took the maternity break from Bollywood. Reports say her comeback film too will be along with Hrithik.

Aishwarya was criticised by the media for failing to lose her post-pregnancy weight, but on giving a stunning appearance on the red carpet at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival this year, the actress has put a full stop to all criticisms. Over the past few months, Aishwarya has been making few international appearances along with her daughter.

Even though confirmed reports about the comeback from the actress  are not yet received, rumours say that Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have approached her for their next projects.

Especially, buzz says Karan Johar is very keen to rope in Aishwarya Rai in his upcoming productions. Agneepath director Karan Malhotra’s next project is titled Shuddhi. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and still the lead lady for the film is not finalised.

Kareena Kapoor or Anushka Sharma was expected to be finalised to pair with Hrithik in the movie, but Karan Malhotra himself denied the reports.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is interested to work with Aishwarya Rai. Late last year, there was a strong buzz that Johar had approached Aishwarya and Abhishek for a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1982 film Bemisaal, but no progress was made then.

In January 2013, there was another buzz saying K Jo’s plan to sign Aishwarya for a production, but nothing came true. This time, Aiswarya has herself hinted that she was looking forward to green-light her comeback with a couple of Bollywood projects.
