Samsung Launches dual OS tablet Ativ Q

London, June 22 ():  Samsung has announced the launch of Ativ Q tablet that operates in two operating systems, Windows 8 and Android. The Ativ Q tablet is designed in such a way that it can be used in tablet mode and also like a laptop.

The Samsung Ativ Q runs both in Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and in Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating systems. The Ativ Q has a 13.3in (33.8cm) screen fixed over a keyboard which can be folded for typing or set to act as a stand. It has a resolution ofQHD+ 3200×1800 and weighs 1.29 kg and is only 13.9 mm thick.

It has a pixel density of 275 pixels per inch. The display is optimized for use in bright sunlight and it even comes with the Samsung S Pen. The S-Pen functionality comes with stylus with 1024 levels of sensitivity and SideSync software that allows you to create content using the stylus on the tablet.

It is built in with intel HD Graphics 4400 to enable users to have a good gaming session. The dimension of Ativ Q is 327 X 217.8 X 13.9 mm .The other features include USB 3.0, USB 2.0, micro HDMI, RJ 45(Dongle). It has a camera of 720p HD.

The tablet is powered with Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB DDR3L RAM and boast a 128GB solid-state drive. The Ativ Q runs off Intel’s new Haswell chip and Samsung said it offered up to nine hours of battery life.

It is available in ash black colour.
