Orissa Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) 2013 key information

Odisha, June 8 (): The government of Orissa will be conducting the Orissa Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) 2013, which is popularly known as Orissa TET, according to the rules and regulations laid down by the central regulating authorities.

Candidates who wish to become teachers in primary classes from I – V and upper primary classes from VI – VIII have to take the Orissa TET as per the order of the state of Orissa.

OTET Examination Pattern

Candidates appearing for the Odisha Eligibility Test 2013 will be having two papers, that is paper-1 and paper -2.

OTET 2013 Syllabus and Examination Pattern

a.There will be two multiple choice objective type question papers

b. Each paper is of 150 marks in which each question will carry 1 mark.

Details of question papers

Candidates aspiring for class I-V in Orissa Primary School will be taking: Paper I Syllabus.

Candidates aspiring for class VI to VIII in upper Primary school will be taking Paper II Syllabus.

Candidates who are interested in teaching class I to VIII will have to take Paper I and Paper II respectively. The candidate will have to appear for both the papers and need to score good marks and become eligible enough for handling all the classes.

All candidates who wish to appear for the exams are requested to collect the OTET ADMIT card 2013 available in the examination centre prior to fifteen days of the exam. The government of Orissa however has not yet mentioned about providing the online admit card to candidates.

The Board of Orissa will declare the results online in the website of the Board after the evaluation of the paper.
