Bangalore, May 28 (): Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Results 2013 are expected to be announced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in a short while from now – at 4:00 pm.
According to information received, the KCET 2013 results would be made available on the following websites http://www.kar.nic.in/kea/ at 4 pm today.
Once the results are declared, students who appeared for the exams are expected to get relieved. Candidates can view their marks on the website and can also take a print out of it.
Based on the CET marks, admissions to undergraduate Engineering and Medical courses are made. The state of Karnataka has a total 87,490 engineering seats and 5,298 seats for MBBS. According to the marks scored by the students, seats will be allotted.
Document verification schedules for admission in to professional courses has already been announced by the KEA.
Eligible candidates of the CET-2013 are requested to get their documents verified at any of KEA’s 13 helpline centres that are available in the KEA website on June 03/04.
Students who have obtained the required percentage in the main subjects of the qualifying exam will find themselves in the merit list, irrespective of the marks secured in the common entrance test.
Students waiting anxiously will be relaxed on May 28 after their results get declared at 4:00 pm. Students can view the results in the official website at http://www.kar.nic.in/kea/.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the exams of the Karnataka CET and this year more than 1.39 lakh students appeared for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2013).
