Jaipur, May 5 (): The 50th match of IPL between Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors will be played on May 5, Sunday at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur.

Positions of Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors in the points table:

Points Tally

Rajasthan Royals

Pune Warriors

Rajasthan Royals:

Despite four losses, the Royals have maintained their hold on the third spot on the points table.

Australian all-rounder Shane Watson and 18-year-old Kerala chap Sanju Samson have given positive efforts for Royals. Watson has so far scored 349 runs from 8 games and has also picked six wickets while Samson’s amazing 63 off 41 balls while chasing 172 against RCB was the highlight in his overall performance.

RR have also spinners Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan as surprise weapons.

For skipper Rahul Dravid, it would be important to see how his men put behind the KKR defeat and come out strongly on home turf on Sunday.

Team Rajasthan Royals: Rahul Dravid (captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson (wk), Shane Watson, Brad Hodge, Stuart Binny Owais Shah, James Faulkner, Ajit Chandila, Siddharth Trivedi, Sreesanth, Brad Hogg, Fidel Edwards, Kevon Cooper, Kushal Perera, Samuel Badree, Shaun Tait, Ankit Chavan, Ashok Maneria, Dishant Yagnik, Harmeet Singh, Kumar Borsea, Pravin Thambe, Rahul Shukla, Sachin Baby, Shreevats Goswami, Vikramjeet Malik.

Pune Warriors:

On the other hand, Pune Warriors have suffered their sixth straight loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore the other day. And it is also not an easy task to meet the Royals.

The Warriors have been miserably out of all categories and inconsistent in all departments of the game. Their batting and bowling have to be done with more efforts and efficiency by the players.

Excepting Finch’s three half-centuries and Uthappa’s maiden half-century this season, no other Pune batsman has scored a fifty so far.

In their last match, Uthappa smashed a fiery 45-ball 75 and the team would be looking for many such contributions from him in their remaining games.

Bowling also remains a big concern for Pune as most of their bowlers have leaked runs.

Team Pune Warriors: Aaron Finch (captain), Angelo Mathews, Abhishek Nayar, Ajanta Mendis, Ali Murtaza, Anustup Mazumdar, Ashok Dinda, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dheeraj Jadhav, Eklavya Dwivedi, Harpreet Singh, Ishwar Pandey, Kane Richardson, Krishnakant Upadhyay, Luke Wright, Mahesh Rawat, Manish Pandey, Marlon Samuels, Mitchell Marsh, Mithun Manhas, Parveez Rasool, Rahul Sharma, R Gomez, Robin Uthappa, Ross Taylor, Shrikant Wagh, Steve Smith, T Suman, Tamim Iqbal, Udit Birla, Wayne Parnell and Yuvraj Singh.
