New Delhi, April 27 (ANI): Sushmita Sen recently inaugurated a new art gallery ‘Gallery 7′ in Mumbai.
The former Miss Universe, who was spotted having a gala time, spoke about her love for art and said that she loves all paintings, be it of a child or a renowned artist.
“I actually love paintings right from a child’s drawing to Picasso’s childish paintings to Husain’s interpretation of horses, Mother Teresa, to Raza’s graphical kind of paintings. I mean I have such a huge collection of art not because it has value or because we can measure it in terms of money,” the actress said.
“But there are two very important reasons for it and that is because I believe that as we live within the four walls of a house and when we put paintings in it that become like windows. Whenever you feel like you want to be inspired or imaginative, you look towards that window and it takes you to its own world. So I love painting for that reason,” Sen said.
The 37-year-old actress looked graceful in a black dress.
Director Kunal Kohli also attended the event to support his mother who is one of the curators of the gallery.
“My mother Mrs. Yash Kohli, she is one of the curators. She has just started as an art curator and she has done a couple of shows. So I am here basically for my mother and I am trying to be a good son. So I am here for that matter,” he said. (ANI)
