Mumbai, Apr 25 (): Aashiqui 2 is now all set to create a new kind of magic, just as done by Aashiqui more than 20 years ago. The musical romantic movie is releasing tomorrow, April 26 with much expectations.
The remarkable promos of the film have created a lot of expectations. The young stars, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s promising characterisations and director Mohit Suri’s wonderful making is expected to give a great treat to the movie lovers, who are awaiting the release of the movie.
Intially, Aashiqui 2 started making waves through its music, especially ‘Tum Hi Ho’ song which has reached a romantic anthem status. Sources say Aashiqui 2 is expected to be a worthy successor to Aashiqui and would be able to make a bigger impact.
Mahesh Bhatt says Aashiqui 2 has a great musical score. It has tremendous depth and these youngsters (lyricists, singers, composers) have come out with outstanding songs. He says the very speciality about these numbers is that they come from silences.
Bhatt says Aashiqui 2 comes in the glorious golden period of cinema …a switch from lust to love…body to heart…It has middle class values and brings back the kind of cinema that our audiences have forgotten that once entertained them to the best.
Bhatt wonders he has never seen such kind of a response in the last 10 years since the release of Raaz. With his usual belligerent tone, he said that the response to Aashiqui 2 is a kind of Tsunami no less.
Mahesh Bhatt plays the role of lead Aditya Roy Kapur’s father; Bhatt will not make an appearance in the film but will be seen communicating with Aditya only via phone conversations.
Aashiqui 2 is an eternal love story which has garnered a ‘U’ certificate like the preceding musical love story Aashiqui. The new version holds the same significance of an everlasting musical drama that emotes love, romance and modern relationships.
