Musharraf’s farmhouse not to be declared sub-jail, no visitors while in police custody

Islamabad, Apr 20 (ANI): Islamabad police has issued a notice prohibiting all visitors from meeting the former dictator Pervez Musharraf while he is in custody.

The verbally delivered orders prohibit all party workers and lawyers, including those representing Musharraf from meeting the former dictator.

According to the Express Tribune, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad Yasin Farooq request for Musharraf’s farmhouse to be declared a sub-jail has been turned down by authorities.

According to the authorities, there is a lack of evidence and reasoning to suggest why Musharraf needs a sub-jail.

Adequate justification will be required in order for the decision to be made, the report said. (ANI)
