Apr 19 (): NEET, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test initiated by the Central government in the year 2012, and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is the national level common entrance exam for Medical / Dental courses admissions across the country.
NEET exam is held for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical / Dental courses admissions.
What is NEET UG?
NEET UG is to be taken by students looking to pursue undergraduate Medical / Dental courses – like MBBS/BDS admissions across the country.
A candidate has to secure minimum marks in NEET UG held for the particular academic year besides obtaining minimum prescribed marks at the qualifying examination.
What is NEET PG?
Approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the NEET PG is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various postgraduate Medical / Dental courses like MD/MDS/ MS and PG Diploma courses across the country.
NEET UG 2013 examination date
5th May,2013 (Sunday)
NEET UG 2013 in Karnataka state alone has been postponed to 18th May,2013 (Saturday) in view of the Assembly elections.
NEET UG syllabus
Syllabus will cover questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Class XI and XII covering various State syllabi, as well as from CBSE,NCERT and COBSE.
