Bangalore, Apr. 19 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released its election manifesto for the Karnataka assembly elections.
The party, which released the manifesto in presence of senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley, promised free laptops for students and better waste management in the state.
The Karnataka BJP has roped in its top national leaders, including Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, to campaign.
An estimated 2,295 candidates have entered the fray for the assembly polls in Karnataka.
Elections to the 224-member Karnataka legislative assembly are to be held on May 5 and the counting of votes will be taken up on May 8. (ANI)
