Mumbai, Apr 10 (): Laila, the item number of Sunny Leone for Shootout At Wadala has faced the rage of the Censor Board and the lyrics of the item number have been altered to suit the TV audiences.
A source said that the censor board felt that the lyrics had to be changed to make it more appropriate for the TV audience. The makers had to re-dub the line and the new version would be shown on television.
And to obey with the demands of the censor board, the makers have changed the lyrics from “Laila teri le legi” to “Laila teri loot legi” for the TV audience.
Tanuj Garg, CEO of the production house said that various modifications had to be made in the Laila promo at the behest of CBFC to get it aired on TV.
The song ‘Laila’ is the debut item number of Canadian porn actress Sunny Leone in Hindi cinema. Sunny came to India with the fifth season of TV reality show Bigg Boss in 2011. She became a Bollywood star by doing the lead role in Mahesh Bhatt’s Jism 2.
Now, she has become an item girl through Laila song of Shootout At Wadala. In the song, Leone is seen seducing John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor.
When Jism 2 was released with much hype, the movie did not receive a good rating as expected and Bollywood career of Sunny looked dull at that time.
But, when the item song of Laila from upcoming film Shootout in Wadala was released on the first week of April with Sunny shaking her legs with John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor, the popularity of Sunny Leone has raised to a good extent on adult site of YouTube video.
Shootout At Wadala which is jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta features John Abraham, Tusshar Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Kangna Ranaut in lead roles. The film is slated to release this May.
