Baadshah Review

Hyderabad, Apr 5 (): Baadshah  is the much awaited Telugu film of this year because of the two big names of Tollywood associated with it – NTR Jr and director Sreenu Vaitla.

Rama Rao alias Baadshah (NTR) is the son of Ranjan (Mukesh Rishi) who is the legal consultant for a big South-East-Asia’s mafia don Sadhu Bhai (Kelly Dorji). Sadhu is responsible for most of the terrorist activities across India.

Baadshah’s smartness disturbs Sadhu and finally Sadhu joins hands with other dons, Violent Victor (Pradeep Rawat) and Crazy Robert (Ashish Vidyardhi) to eliminate Baadshah and his family. Meantime, Sadhu plans a mega scale terrorist attack in the major cities of India.

Rama Rao lands in Milan, where he meets Janaki, daughter of a senior cop (Nasser). Janaki helps Rama Rao with her father to stop Sadhu’s terrorist attack plan. The rest of the story is about why Rama Rao has become Baadshah, what happened between Rama Rao and Janaki, why Rama Rao comes to Milan, what is Janaki’s connection with the entire movie plot.


Jr NTR looks stylish and his body language is exceptional. The action sequences are done in perfect style and more importantly, his body shape looked consistent throughout the movie. His comedy timing in second half is very good and he has danced with renewed vigour in all songs. His acting and dialogue delivery are immaculate as always.

Kajal Agarwal plays an interior designer role. The actress has done justice to her role. Also she looks stunning in the songs.

Brahmanandam and MS Narayana once again has hogged the limelight with their stellar performances.

Dialogues penned by Kona Venkat and Sreenu Vaitla are humorous and the masala dialogues offered by NTR are quite superb.

The tracks of Thaman have already become a chart buster and background music has also nicely fitted with the movie.

Director Sreenu Vaitla has used the style and presence of NTR well in the movie. The narration of the story is well planned and as usual Sreenu has focused on powerful dialogues which will satisfy cinema goers.


NTR has got a film with good box office potential and Baadshah will surely enhance the star value of the actor. The film can be enjoyed for its comedy elements and NTR’s powerful presence.
