The AirAsia offer has nothing to with its entering Indian aviation through a joint venture with Tata. The airline offers such promotion offer on all routes that it flies. AirAsia offer differs from Tiger Airways offer. It offered ten seats on each flight at Rs 2700 from Tiruchirapalli, Chennai, Thiruvnanthapuram, Kochi, Bangalore and Hyderabad to Singapore for travel from May to December 15th. This discount is part of the fifth year in India and tickets can booked under this scheme up to March 13th.
AirAsia which operates in eighteen nations and touching 85 airports with 186 routes, at first offers low fares. As the passengers develop an affinity with the airline, it would increase the fares. It adopted this in Japan, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia operations but met with limited success.
