Mumbai, Mar 13 (): Kareena Kapoor lit the lamps at the inaugural ceremony of the 14th edition of FICCI Frames, the annual conclave of the media and entertainment industry, held at Hotel Renaissance in Powai, Mumbai, on Tuesday noon.
Kareena looked stunning in a plain chiffon orange saree, with a yellow, black and gold border. She wore a close neck blouse, with heavy self-colour sequin work in the neck and long sleeve. Attractive beads were hanging at the end of her long sleeve blouse and she has used very minimal matching jewellery. The gorgeous outfit of Kareena was designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra.
The actress was busy shooting for Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’ in Bhopal; she flew down to grace the event. Kareena Kapoor graced the occasion with film-maker Karan Johar.
While interacting with the media, Kareena Kapoor said that she had attended the event after being invited by Karan Johar and other senior bureaucrats. She also expressed her joy in joining in the inaugural event. She said she was happy and felt great to be there at FICCI Frames to light the lamp as she was a part of the film industry.
Kareena Kapoor also said that she had never been interested in production, direction or writing. She had always been interested in acting since childhood, and she would continue doing it till she grew old. The actress expressed her desire that she would keep on visiting the sets and hoped she would even die on the sets.
FICCI Frames 2013 is a three-day event that started off with great enthusiasm, along with honourable delegates from overseas and renowned personalities. The main aim of the conference is to deliberate on the growth of the Indian film industry and find ways to maximize its creative and economic potential.
