‘Livid’ fans blast Rooney after refusing to autograph Man U memorabilia

London, Feb 28 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney caused outrage among his fans when he refused to autograph their United memorabilia at a book-signing event.

Rooney disappointed numerous fans who had come at the Waterstones event in Manchester where he was also present, by refusing to sign their United shirts and posters, the Sun reports.

The United star, who is no stranger to controversies, had autographed products for A1 Memorabilia who sell Rooney’s personally signed shirts for 99 dollars, donating the proceeds from the sale to a Kenyan orphanage called Kidzone, the paper added.

In the past, Rooney was once caught up in a sex scandal in which he had a threesome with two prostitutes, Jenny Thomson and Helen Wood, after being refused sex by his then-pregnant wife Coleen. (ANI)
