BJP to go on nationwide protest on Jan 24, demands Shinde’s dismissal

New Delhi, Jan 22 (): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday demanded unconditional apology from UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the controversial remark made by Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at the Congress summit in Jaipur, saying that BJP and the RSS are promoting Hindu terrorism in the country.

The BJP has also demanded for the dismissal of the Home Minister claiming that Shinde no longer has the eligibility to remain in the post. Expressing strong objection for Shinde using the word ‘saffron terror’, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that saffron is a clean word which is our national flag.

Shinde’s remark might provide a chance to Pakistan to use for their defence, said Prasad adding that terror has no religion. Nationwide protest will be observed by the BJP on January 24 condemning the Home minister’s remarks that might possibly give an opportunity for the neighbouring country to use it against India, claimed Prasad.

It appears as if Shinde has lost his mental balance, else he would have not made such a irresponsible remark, said the BJP Jammu and Kashmir President Jughal Kishore Sharma. BJP being a systematically patriotic organization condemns the remark, said Sharma who criticized the Congress party playing vote-bank politics.

Instead of focusing more on major issues like price rise and corruption which the country is facing, Shinde is making such allegations which the BJP strongly condemns, added Sharma.

Meanwhile, LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, the man behind 26/11 Mumbai attack has demanded Pakistan to record Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s remark against the BJP and RSS and said that India’s  false allegation against Pakistan organization spreading terror has now been revealed.

Stating that Pakistani organizations have always been demoralized, Hafiz Saeed said that India which tried to involve the LeT in the Mumbai attack has now been exposed. He demanded Pakistan to declare India “a terrorist state” by the UN Security Council, after Shinde’s remark against the BJP and the RSS.
