RSS, BJP promoting Hindu terrorism: Sushil Kumar Shinde

Jaipur, Jan 21 (): In a major attack against the opposition, Union Home Minister on Sunday said that the BJP and the RSS are creating storm by indulging in promoting Hindu terrorism in the country.

While addressing in the Chintan Shivir at Jaipur, Shinde was quoted saying that he had been constantly receiving reports that the BJP and the RSS are promoting Hindu terrorism and claimed that the RSS was found to be behind the blast of Mecca Masjid, Samjhauta Express as well as Malegaon blasts.

Shinde in his address also claimed that it is the RSS who is planting bombs everywhere but the minorities are made to suffer.

Justifying Shinde’s comment senior Congress leader Manishankar Aiyar said Shinde has revealed a hidden secret.

Hitting back at the Home Minister’s allegation, the BJP condemned Shinde’s statement saying it is highly irresponsible on the part of the Home Minister who tries to play vote-bank politics.

Terming that the ruling government has alleged a spiritless statement, BJP spokesperson, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, the Congress government is trying to humiliate the BJP by making such reckless allegations. He also claimed that the Congress with an intention to divert the LoC issue is trying to spill mud on the BJP just for wooing Muslim votes.

Reacting to the statement made by Shinde, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz joined Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi saying that Shinde’s allegation might disturb the internal peace of the country. The Congress will have to face the consequences on the allegation made by its Union Minister, said Mr Hussain.

Defending his statement Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde later clarified that he did not allege on his own but it was mentioned many times in newspapers.

Sources said after the BJP demanded Congress president Sonia Gandhi to apologize for Shinde’s statement, Congress President in her address at the Chintan Shivir warned party leaders to prepare for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections instead of indulging in discrimination.
