Mumbai, Jan 20 (): The Tamil audio launch of Prabhu Deva’s forthcoming movie ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) is on February 4th at Satyam in Chennai. The Telugu music launch is set to happen on February 8th.
Tamil version of the movie is titled Aadalam Boys Chinnadha Dance (ABCD). The event will be attended by Remo D’Souza and Prabhu Deva along with lyricist Na Muthukumar. At the launch, the songs and the trailer of the film will be presented to the media.
ABCD, said as India’s first 3D film, is made under the production unit of Siddharth Roy Kapur and choreographer Remo D’Souza has directed the movie. ABCD is made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The movie stars Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in lead roles while Dance India Dance winners also play pivotal characters. The music for the movie is scored by Sachin and Jigar.
Originally made in Hindi, the makers decided to dub the film in Tamil and the latest news is the film will soon be dubbed in Telugu too.
Remo D’Souza says “ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance” offers around 50 dance forms in one film.
In a statement he said, “We live in a country where everyone loves dancing everywhere. We love dancing on the streets, during festivities, in the club and when India wins cricket matches. Each one has an exclusive style of dancing and if one loves dancing, he would surely enjoy this film.”
He revealed few facts about his movie. The movie has everything from various dance forms- western contemporary, pumping, hip-hop and ballroom including Indian classical forms – kathak, semi-classical, Indian folk and Local Street dancing that usually people do during festive seasons.
In the movie, Remo has showcased the real-life dancers, who were once ordinary people and now have become movie stars through their dance forms.
ABCD — AnyBody Can Dance is slated to release on February 8.
