New Delhi, Jan 17 (): Acer has launched its Acer Iconia B1 7” tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system in India at a price tag of Rs. 7,999.
This tablet is one of the budget 7″ devices to launch in India. The launch was announced last week at CES 2013.
The Acer Iconia B1 comes with 7” capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels and 182 ppi pixel density. The tablet is powered with 1.2 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT 8317T processor and 512 MB RAM.
This tablet features 8 GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 32 GB via the micro SD slot. The tablet has a front-facing VGA camera with 0.3-megapixel for video calls, Skype etc. For connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0.
Other features include Accelerometer sensors, GPS and Micro USB v2.0. Iconia B1 is loaded with a 2,710 mAh battery and this device will provide up to 8 hours of battery backup.

It is available in India through Acer’s strong channel partner network. Being a budget tablet, Acer Iconia B1 Tab has decent specifications.
