Box office collection : Naayak (Nayak) collects 69 crore in its first weekend (5 days)

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (): Director VV Vinayak’s latest venture Naayak starring Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul in lead roles has concluded the first weekend with wonderful collection at the domestic box office. The movie has raked in 69.35 crore in its five-day long first weekend.

As per reports shown in superwoods, Ramcharan Naayak’s collections at box office is as follows:

January 9, Wednesday – 13.65 Crores
January 10, Thursday  – 14.38 Crores
January 11, Friday       – 13.20 Crores
January 12, Saturday  –  14.02 Crores
January 13, Sunday    –  14.10 Crores

Total collections          – 69.35 Crores

Naayak, which was released in more than 1,600 screens on Wednesday, January 9, has received positive reviews, with good ratings from film critics, who have praised director VV Vinayak and Ram Charan. The movie registered an average of 90% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes in the country on its opening day. On its second day of release, the action entertainer has witnessed an average of 66% in its business across the globe.

Naayak is an action entertainer, which has several highlights such as Ram Charan Teja’s performance, Kajal-Amala’s glamour, SS Thaman’s music, Chota K Naidu’s camerawork, Vinayak’s narration, Brahmanandam-MS Narayan-Rahul Dev’s comedy, wonderful action and dance sequences.

By collecting 69.35 crore in its 5-day first weekend, Naayak has topped the collection charts at the box office in the first weekend with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu landing in the second spot. Blockbuster movie Gabbar Singh had collected Rs 22 crores at the AP Box Office in its opening weekend. Now, Naayak has broken this record.

Since the day the project was announced by director VV Vinayak, Naayak has been carrying huge expectations. Prior to its release, producer DVV Danayya has had a good promotion for this masala entertainer and released it in a large number of screens. The positive reviews and excellent ratings by film critics are some factors, which had caused a splendid response for the film.
