Bigg Boss 6 winner : Urvashi Dholakia takes home the jackpot

Mumbai, Jan 13 (): Urvashi Dholakia, a very popular small screen actress, best known for her role of Komolika was announced on Saturday night as the winner of the sixth season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss.

Imam Siddique is the first runner-up, while Sana Khan is the second runner-up.

Bigg Boss 6 hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan came to a grand end on Saturday night, after three months of huge doses of entertainment. The winner of the show Urvashi Dholakia was one of the strongest contestants in the show right from the beginning. The famous actress has been praised by everyone outside and inside the house as a strong woman.

Celebrity stylist Imam Siddiqui, model Niketan Madhok, Urvashi Dholakia and model-Actress Sana Khan were the final four who were left in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

The final episode started with a short summary of the season, with Bigg Boss narrating the journey at Bigg Boss 6 house.

All the former contestants of this season were present at the grand finale. Prabhu Deva and Remo D’Souza came on the stage to give dance performances.

Vishal and Karishma did a dance performance near the swimming pool. Their performance was followed by Yana Gupta’s wonderful performance inside a cage.

After these lively performances, Salman Khan announced Niketan Madhok, as the person with the lowest vote count among the finalists, declaring him out of the Bigg Boss 6 race. Then, the host announced Sana Khan as the second runner-up. Urvashi and Imam were left as the top two finalists who were escorted outside the house by Salman.

Urvashi was announced the winner of the show in front of a live audience which included former inmates of the house. Urvashi’s mother and sons were present at the event.

Urvashi, who had been in Bigg Boss house from day one – starting October 7, has won Rs. 50 lakh and a trophy as the prize, while Colors channel gave Rs.10 lakh to Imam for being a ‘wholehearted entertainer’. Imam was first placed in ‘Padosi House’ before being shifted to Bigg Boss house and had been given Rs.5 lakh by the channel during the show earlier.
