She is being kept at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital as it has facilities for multiple organ transplants.

A spokesman for the New Delhi hospital where she has been undergoing treatment has said her condition is still critical.

“Based on the advice of a team of doctors, the Government of India has made arrangements that the patient be shifted in well-equipped air ambulance to a renowned hospital identified by the doctors involving minimal journey so that she can be provided with state-of-the-art medical treatment that may perhaps stretch to many weeks,” said Dr. B.D. Athani, Medical Superintendent at the Safdarjung Hospital.
