ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, India’s first 3D dance film trailer out

Mumbai, Nov 28 (): ‘Any Body Can Dance’ (ABCD), Prabhu Deva’s 3D dance flick is India’s first 3D dance film and its trailer is out on Tuesday. The movie, set to release in February 2013, is made under India’s biggest production house, UTV Motion Pictures, and famous choreographer turned director, Remo D’souza.

With the first trailer and poster released, Remo D’Souza fans are looking forward to the 3D film. The movie hits theatres on February 8, 2013.

The film is about a dancer from Chennai who beats the odds to make it big. The key roles are played by Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya, which also stars dance reality show, Dance India Dance, winners like Salman Yusuf Khan, Dharmesh, Mayuresh, Vrushali, Prince and Noorin Sha all of them essaying central characters. The film also has Kay Kay Menon playing a dance instructor in the film and his character is another central character of the film.

ABCD has brought together the participants of the popular dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ again.

Prabhu Deva plays the role of a great dancer, who crashes down after he is ousted from a dance show. He again starts his dance from a mark with a miscellaneous bunch of local street dancers. These dancers start practicing in an old warehouse and take part in the same competition from which Deva was ousted.

Prabhu Deva will be paying tribute to Michael Jackson by performing his signature moves in a song from the film.

Remo’s last film was ‘FALTU’ and it was a success at the box office. Now, he is back with a topic that’s close to his heart – Dance. ‘ABCD’ is Remo’s third film as a director. In his film he has the various forms of dances, from ballet to hip hop to free style, so, the film will be an interesting mix of these dance forms.
