Box office : 4 day collections of Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) 60 cr, Son of Sardaar (SOS) 52 cr

Mumbai, Nov 17 (): Four day collections of the recent Diwali release Bollywood movies are released just now and as reported by oneindia entertainment, Shahrukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) has raked in 60.39 crores nett and Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar (SOS) has raked in 52.13 crores nett in four days.

JTHJ, on receiving rave reviews and positive notes from film critics, received a tremendous response at desi box office collection centres on its first day of release with the occupancy ranging from 90% to 100%.

On the opening day, the romantic thriller of late legend Yash Chopra collected Rs 15.23 cr. This opening collection is said to be the highest for any movie released on Lakshmi puja day and also it is SRK’s biggest opener so far.

Next day, the movie showed 25%+ development in the collection, by reaching Rs 19.54 cr. But, JTHJ witnessed a big drop in its business on next two days, collecting Rs 14.45 cr on Thursday and RS 11.17 cr on Friday. However, Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s total collection for four days rounded up to Rs 60.39 crores nett.

SOS opened in 2,000+ screens on November 13, which received a fabulous response. The movie saw better occupancies in single screens when compared to multiplexes across the country. The movie took 10.72 crore nett on the opening day. With this, SOS has broken the opening weekend collection record of Ajay’s previous release Bol Bachchan.

The remake movie of Telugu hit Maryada Ramannashowed saw a big jump on Wednesday. It saw 55% growth in its business, collecting 16.21 cr nett. The business went down considerably on Thursday collecting 12.20 cr and on Friday collecting 13 cr. Thus, Son Of Sardar has raked in Rs 52.13 crores nett in four days.

Now, the trade analysts are closely watching whether these movies would surpass Rs 100 crore mark in the opening weekend.
