Aaradhya Bachchan celebrates first Diwali in Bachchan style

Mumbai, Nov 15 (): The Bachchan family threw an extravagant Diwali bash at their home, Jalsa, in the posh suburb of Juhu in Mumbai and invited most of the film industry. This year’s bash was very special to them as it was first Diwali for Aaradhya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya’s daughter, who was born on 16th November last year.

The Bachchans celebrated their first Diwali with baby Aaradhya in a grand manner. As all know, Bachchans love celebrations and they are a truly spirited family. Abhishek and Aishwarya’s first wedding anniversary and Karva Chauth were celebrated in a grand manner. This time, after Big B’s 70th birthday bash, it is baby Aaradhya Bachchan’s turn now.

The entire house was decorated with bright lights. Amitabh Bachchan has ordered nearly 200 kandils (paper lanterns) from a famous manufacturer called Kailash Desle in Thane, who is specialised in making eco-friendly decorative items.

Many Bollywood stars attended the Diwali party. Stars like Karan Johar, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Kangna Ranaut and many others were spotted at Bachchan’s residence. The members of Bachchan house, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai played hosts to their Bollywood guests.

Amitabh Bachchan, who wore a bright red kurta for the bash, greeted the media persons, who were waiting outside his house.

Shah Rukh Khan, looked relaxed with the company of his Bollywood friends Ashutosh Gowariker, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai at the party, amidst the release of his film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Ex-lovers Bipasha Basu and John Abraham were also seen for the first time at the same party.

Mr Bachchan tweeted, “Deepavali ki anek anek shubhkamanayein… Sab ko… prosperity, success, good health, and may you win the worth of it!”

Now, reports say preparations are going on for Aaradhya’s first birthday, on November 16.
