Romney-backer Murdoch takes potshot at NJ governor Christie ‘for embrace of Obama’

Washington, Nov 3 (ANI): Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch is apparently unhappy with the way New Jersey governor Chris Christie has embraced President Barack Obama in the past few days over dealing with hurricane relief efforts.

The News Corporation boss expressed approval of the cancellation of the New York City marathon, but took a potshot at Christie for his embrace of Obama on micro blogging platform Twitter, Politico reports.

“Thanks Bloomberg right [email protected] Christie, while thanking O, must re- declare for Romney, or take blame for next four dire years,” Murdoch tweeted.

According to the report, Republicans have expressed concern that Obama’s moment of bipartisanship with Christie this week, in response to Hurricane Sandy, could resonate with voters in a helpful way for the Democrat. (ANI)
