Jab Tak Hai Jaan: Grand premiere planned as a tribute to Yash Chopra

Mumbai, Oct 29 (): Yash Chopra’s last directorial work ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ is set for a grand première as a tribute to the late filmmaker. The film releases this Diwali, Nov 13. The première will be held Nov 12, a day before the film’s release.

In accordance with Yash Chopra’s wishes, his wife Pam Chopra has decided that a grand film première be held to celebrate the release of Yashji’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan this Diwali.

Pamji said that she had asked her sons, Aditya and Uday to go ahead with all the preparations. She said that the premiere would be their way of celebrating his illustrious life, rather than mourning it and added that this grand premiere would be a fitting tribute to a man who would have had it no other way.

The iconic director, Yash Chopra, who was known as Hindi cinema’s ‘king of romance’ died last week following dengue infection and multiple organ failure. The entire film industry has been shaken by the sudden demise of the legendary filmmaker.

Yash Chopra planned for another charming song sequence in the locations of Switzerland, offering his fans an amazing chemistry between Shahrukh and Katrina for “Jab Tak Hai Jaan.” But, due to the death of the legend that song sequence could not reach us.

Yash Chopra did world-class films like “Veer Zaara”, “Darr”,”Dil To Pagal Hai”, “Mohabbatein” with Shahrukh Khan, which have taken both of them to sky heights. The Yash Raj banner was recognized by the charm of Shahrukh and the “dreamy passionate touch” of Yash Chopra. The dynamic pair, Yash Chopra and Shahrukh Khan have always managed to enthral the audiences with thrill and emotion.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is Yash Chopra’s last mega-romance venture and is predicted to be a big hit in the box office.
