Ahmedabad, Oct 22 ():Narendra Modi, the Gujarat strongman who is considered to be the BJP’s hotheaded leader and Hindutva placard chap, had a meeting with the RSS top heroes yesterday but denied to comment on any discussion that took place in the meeting regarding portraying him as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the forthcoming elections.
While talking to the reporters outside the RSS headquarters whether the meeting was meant for the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Modi said, “RSS often keeps away from such things,” and declared discussions about PM candidate are all hearsay.
“It is long since I met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Joshi and Suresh Soni, therefore I came here to meet them and to have discussions about various issues,” said the Chief Minister.
Responding to Modi’s meeting with the RSS, GPP president Keshubhai Patel said that as the condition in Gujarat started worsening, Modi ran towards the RSS to meet and consult with top functionaries of the Sangh Parivar.
“It shows Modi’s fear who decided to meet the RSS chief ahead the polls as the situation is now going out of his control,” said Mr Patel.
Earlier expressing concern over the activities of the Narendra Modi government, the GPP chief Keshubhai Patel left the BJP in the recent past and formed a new party, the Gujarat Parivartan Party. Patel is also likely to take a rally in Surat ahead of the Gujarat polls that has a number of traders from the region of Saurashtra.
According to sources, the strong man of Gujarat is in full swing and is getting ready for the next term in the coming election.
With fingers crossed, the Congress party is still finding a suitable way, whereas Keshubhai Patel’s newborn Gujarat Parivartan is not in a position to cause any harm to Modi. Apart from this, there are few more parties which can hardly do any damage to the ruling BJP.
