CGTR Preview: Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu raises expectations

Hyderabad, Oct 17 (): Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CGTR) power star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming Telugu movie is directed and written by Puri Jagannath. Tamannaah plays the female lead role and the movie is scheduled to release on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in more than 1600 screens.

The two Tollywood biggies, Puri Jagannath and Pawan Kalyan are joining together after 12 years, which has created a lot of expectations over this racy entertainer.

Pawan Kalyan plays a mechanic, who due to certain circumstances turns into a journalist. He uses his profession to depict the evil activities in the society. Tamannaah, who essays the role of a TV journalist helps power star in the sting operations to expose the dark activities of celebrities and politicians. The film also has Gabriela Bertante – a Brazilian model and Scarlett Wilson playing item numbers.

The film is a romantic action movie and the director has added all masala elements to the film. The trailer, song teaser, dialogues, posters, action teaser and music have received a thunderous response.

Music composer Mani Sharma has composed the audio album for the film, which has six songs. The album lacks in melodious or romantic songs. Instead, the album has a ‘power song’ written and sung by Baba Seghal. The song has created a craze among the audience and a couple of songs have become chartbusters. The music album’s specialty is the composer Mani Sharma has not put in any non-Telugu singers.

Pawan Kalyan’s CGTR has already begun its pace to create new records before its release. Distributors say CGTR is the first film to be released in highest number of theatres in Hyderabad and Nizam. As per reports, in Nizam, the entertainer is releasing in nearly 293 theaters, out of which the movie will be screened in more than 100 theaters in Hyderabad.
