New Delhi, Oct 3 (): The Indian car maker, Tata Motors today launches a new version of Tata Indica eV2 which gives more mileage of 25 kilometers per litre.
The price of this version has also been reduced from the earlier price of this car by Rs. 23,000. Tata Motors also offered extended warranty and has also made the provisions for low down payment for the customers. The new refreshed Indica eV2 has stylish exteriors like new front bumper, stylish headlamps, alloy wheels and integrated stop lamp and has additional convenience features.
The refreshed car will be available in 3 variants — Tata Indica eV2 LE, a base variant, Tata Indica eV2 LS and a top end variant Tata Indica eV2 LX.
The company has priced the base variant at Rs. 401,162, ex-showroom, Delhi, up to Rs.487,619 for the high-end variant.
The company states that the India eV2 diesel version was powered by a 1,396 cc normal rail diesel engine that delivers 70 PS @ 4000 RPM with a torque of 140 Nm at a lower 1800-3000 RPM and gives a mileage of 25 kilometre per litre of diesel and has a less weight of 10 kg from the earlier models.
The petrol version car is also available with MPFI engine that delivers 65 PS with a torque of 99 Nm. Both diesel and petrol engines are compliant with Bharat Stage 4 emission norms.
Tata Motors Finance offers the customers with a down-payment of Rs. 50,000 including road tax, registration and insurance.
The company has also offered two years warranty or 75,000 km, whichever is earlier.
Tata Motors reduced the prices of the existing model with refreshed version is in contrast with Honda Cars has raised the cost of its variants Jazz, Brio and City by 2.6 % from October 1.
Indian General Motors had also said that the prices of all models will be increased from October 1 because of high input costs and also due to currency fluctuation.
