New Delhi, Sep 27 (): Sony launched smartphones yesterday costing below Rs.10,000, named Sony Xperia Tipo and Sony Xperia dual SIM smartphone.
The cost of its single SIM model is Rs. 9,999, while other model dual SIM version is priced at Rs. 10,499.
Both the smartphones run with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and are powered with 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with an Adreno 200GPU. These phones have 3.2” shatter-proof and scratch-resistant, TFT touch screen and have screen resolution 480 X 320 resolution. It is built with 512 MB RAM and the internal memory of the devices are 2.5 GB expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card.
The smartphones are powered by 1500mAh battery and have Power Saver settings option to toggle Vibrate, GPS, Wi-Fi, Auto sync, Bluetooth and data connections, and have the options to set the screen brightness and timeout time.
Sony had tied up with Box.net, and offers 50GB cloud storage with the purchase of Sony Xperia Tipo smartphones. It has FM radio and built with 3.2 mp camera with 4x digital zoom.
The Xperia Tipo model is available in Classic white, Classic black, Navy Blue and Deep Red colour schemes, and the dual sim model Xperia tipo dual is available in Classic white and Classic black color options.
The Sony Xperia Tipo models come preloaded with number of apps like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google Voice Search, Gmail, WhatsApp, Google Talk, Instant Messaging, and Google Play.
