For Madhur Bhandarkar, the realistic director, ‘Heroine’ is a dream project and has a special place in his heart. Madhur was particular in releasing the movie today because the film is special to Kareena also. He wished to make her birthday very memorable to Kareena.
Kareena Kapoor is the daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, born on September 21, 1980. She is one of the most desirable babes in Bollywood town. She started her career 12 years back by making her debut in J P Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ against Abhishek Bachchan.
She has charmed the whole Bollywood town by her excellent performances in ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Kyon Ki’, ‘Aitraaz’, ‘Omkara’, ‘Chameli’, ‘Dev’, ‘Ajnabee’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. The latest movie is ‘Heroine’ that hits the screens today. Her forthcoming movies are ‘Satyagraha’ and ‘Talaash’.
The actress admits that her performance in Heroine has been the toughest performance of her career. In the movie, she plays a very challenging role of a glamorous actress, Mahi Arora and she has showcased a heroine’s life, her sufferings in reel and real life. According to her, playing the role of Mahi Arora in the film has been her “bravest” so far.
Then about her birthday plans, sources say Kareena has a shoot in the morning hours for a brand commercial and then she will be spending the rest of the day with her family. It looks like the birthday celebration will be a low-key affair.
