BJP celebrates Narendra Modi’s 62nd birthday in Bihar

Patna, Sep 18 (): Projecting Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister of India, the BJP celebrated Modi’s 62nd birthday on Monday, at the BJP headquarters in Bihar, not worrying much about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Narendra Modi celebrated his birthday here for the first time in the midst of BJP top leaders including party legislatives who distributed sweets and chocolates. While celebrating the function, Giriraj Singh, a senior BJP leader told the media that people want to see Modi as the next Prime Minister of the country whom the party considers as the “strongman of the country”.

The BJP leaders who were looking forward to Narendra Modi becoming the future Prime Minister welcomed Modi by putting up large hoardings all over the state especially in Patna.

Even the Bihar Chief Minister who openly refused Narendra Modi to accept as the NDA Prime Minister greeted Modi on his 62nd birthday wishing him a long life. “There is nothing to object about.  I would like to use this opportunity by wishing Modi a long life on his 62nd birthday. My only worry is that Girirajji who distributed cake to everyone failed to give me one,” uttered the Bihar Chief Minister.

In response to a recent comment by Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi, who considered Rahul Gandhi  as a  national  leader and the Gujarat Chief Minister as a regional leader,  Modi  said, “ Yes,  I am indeed  the leader of Gujarat but I shall not accept Rahul Gandhi as the national leader .”

Rahul can be better called an international leader rather than national leader as he is eligible to contest both in India and Italy, added Modi by degrading Rahul’s family signifying Sonia Gandhi’s origin.

Making a number of proclamations on his birthday, Narendra Modi said that he shall soon provide taluka status to Vinchhiya town of Jamnagar district and will also likely increase the age limit from 25 to 28 and 28 to 30 for getting jobs in government offices.
