Shirdi Sai – Telugu movie review

Hyderabad, Sep 6 (): Telugu movie Shirdi Sai, is Tollywood star Nagarjuna’s another devotional movie. The movie has created a buzz from the day K Raghavendra Rao, the director of the movie announced it. Nagarjuna has played the role of Lord Shirdi Sai Baba and M.M. Keeravani has scored music for the movie.

The interesting incidents in Shridi Sai Baba’s life from birth till death are narrated in the movie in an appealing manner. Nagarjuna appears after 30 minutes of the movie. Baba’s life that has motivated others has made the story interesting.

Baba first appears as a young 12-year-old boy in Shirdi. He subsides a storm and gives a blind man vision. Then, he goes out of that place and under the guidance of his guru, travels all over the country and gains knowledge.

After his education, Baba comes back to Shirdi, where people regard him as a divine being. Being respected and loved by the people, he lives as a divine spirit.

The film shows the various miracles accomplished by Baba like giving life to a dead person, making lamps to burn without oil and saving man from death. The movie depicts Sai Baba’s teachings too.


Nagarjuna plays Shiridi Sai Baba role so flawlessly, which seems that no one else could have done the role so perfectly.

Srikanth has done his job best playing the role, Dasaganu.

Srihari perfectly fits into Wales character.

Brahmanandam has understood his character as Sandeham very well and has played the character well.

Keeravani’s background score and music is brilliant, which forms the soul of the film. He has done it perfectly to keep in tune with the devotional feeling of the masses. In several scenes, the masses are elevated by his impeccable tunes. His own devotional feeling to the art can be understood in each and every song.

Dialogues are very strong that touch the masses.

Director Raghavendra Rao has done his job perfectly. He has added colours to his vivid imagination.


Nagarjuna’s performance is outstanding and impressive. Music forms the soul of the film.

Director Raghavendra Rao deserves to be said as one of the top Indian directors. He has presented the best devotional movie to the present modern generation.
