London, August 27 (ANI): Diving hunk Tom Daley has reportedly signed up to help out this year’s X Factor hopefuls- and bosses are also considering him for a role as presenter in the live shows.
The London 2012 Bronze medallist will join Team GB Olympics heroes Jessica Ennis, Mo Farah and Chris Hoy in Olympics Week.
He will be helping wannabes get in shape in the gym – and show bosses are predicting that 18-year-old Tom’s bubbly personality and toned physique will be a big hit with girl and boy fans.
“All the athletes are keen to be involved. But Tom is keenest by far and he makes a really good match for X Factor’s core audience of teenage girls,” The Sun quoted a source as saying.
“Tom is great on the telly and he’d really like to get involved in all the live shows in some way. Ideas being kicked about at the moment include making him a roving reporter. He could take the contestants out and about to film or to be their personal trainer. He’s keen to work with Dermot. He reckons he’s the best in the business,” the source added.
X Factor’s Olympics Week, when Team GB stars give advice to wannabes, is expected to come when the popular live finals stage of the series starts.
Contestants will sing Olympics-themed songs like Spandau Ballet’s Gold and Tina Turner’s Simply The Best. (ANI)
