Chennai, Aug 20 (): The 3D version of Rajinikanth’s Sivaji is ready for release. But, superstar Rajinikanth has made a statement that there will not be any clash with other movies as he has requested AVM, the producers, to release Sivaji 3D at a time when the other movies won’t be affected.
Vijay’s ‘Thupakki’ and Suriya’s ‘Maatraan’ are Diwali release movies. Sources said Rajini felt that his film should not be a hindrance to the collection of those films, which stars two young actors, Vijay and Surya in the lead. So, Rajinikanth has asked the producers of Sivaji 3D to release it before Diwali.
By this paln, it will be a sure win-win for all three actors as it is well known that a Rajini film draws a lot of crowds. The trailer of the Sivaji 3D was released on August 13 and the response has been phenomenal till now. It shows Rajini fans are waiting for the release of this film.
Sivaji: The Boss was directed by Shankar and was released about five years ago. Now, the makers AVM productions have made a 3D version of the film. Rajinikanth saw the 3D version and was completely pleased with the outcome.
Rajinikanth said he was surprised watching the scenes for the first time in 3D. He added saying God has always been with him and when he was wondering how to give back to his fans, he was given with this opportunity. Sivaji 3D is his gift to them.
Soundarya R Ashwin, second daughter of Rajinikanth is making ‘Kochadaiyaan’, a 3D movie with superstar Rajinikanth in lead role. It was Soundarya’s wish that her father’s first 3D movie should be ‘Kochadaiyaan’. However, Rajini has asked her to hold the release of ‘Kochadaiyaan’, after AVM decided to convert ‘Sivaji’ into 3D format.
During the Sivaji 3D trailer launch, Rajini said, “I was thinking Kochadaiyaan will be the first 3D film, but AVM has done it already”.
