Box Office Collection : Julayi beats Badrinath on the opening day

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (): Allu Arjun’s Julayi was released in nearly 1,600 theatres worldwide on August 9 with huge expectations. The movie has received superb response on the first day of release in both multiplexes and single screens.

The Tollywood trade experts say the movie Julayi gets the fame of “the biggest opener” in Allu Arjun’s career. The opening day collections have broken the opening day record of Allu Arjun’s previous film Badrinath.

First day box office collection of Julayi has crossed above 9.1 crores and
first day box office collection of Badrinath is 7.5 crores.

The movie has received a tremendous response registering 80% to 90% occupancy in multiplexes and houseful in most of the single screens in the Andra Pradesh.

This latest Telugu movie of Allu Arjun, Julayi is also experiencing a victorious opening abroad. In America, the romantic-action thriller has received superb opening at the Box Office. Its two days’ collections are better than that of Adhinayakudu, Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara and Daruvu.

Indian trade analyst Taran Adarsh reports that Julayi has fetched outstanding figures in the USA market. According to his records, the film has collected Rs 78.97 lakhs ($142,857) from its screening on Wednesday and Thursday.

Trivikram Srinivas has directed the movie. Ileana has played the female lead role in this movie. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

The major highlight of the movie is Allu Arjun’s performance. Devi Sri Prasad’s music adds up the credit with excellent choreography of dance and action. Brahmanandham’s comedy timing and Trivikram Srinivas’ witty one-liners also play a major part in the success of the flick. The movie has received positive reviews and rating from film critics. Now, the positive word of mouth is set to play its magic for the film.
