Shruti Hassan’s second Bollywood innings begins

Mumbai, Aug 2 (): Actor Shruti Hassan began her acting career with the Bollywood movie Luck in 2009. The actress has now started her second Bollywood flick in three years, on August 1.

Shruti Hassan has been signed in to play the lead role for Prabhu Deva’s next, which is a musical love story. It is an untitled movie, in which she is playing the female lead role opposite Girish Kumar directed by Prabhu Deva.

On finishing the first day shooting on August 1, Shruti said, ” I have just finished my first day of shoot with Girish Kumar and Prabhu Deva. It was fun and the atmosphere on the sets is especially positive.”

She said she had never worked with Prabhu Deva before, so it was great to be finally getting a chance to do so. The actress is absolutely happy to work with Prabhu deva.

Shruti added more about Prabhu Deva saying he is very clear and an efficient personality and always good with his work. Thus, it helps the actor to keep one’s focus on their performance and not worry about other things. He makes the entire process so much easier.

The actress, who has done playback singing for her own films, is also keen to sing for other actors in Bollywood.

The film is produced by TIPS;  hero Girish Kumar is the son of the producer Kumar Taurani. It is a remake movie of Prabhu Deva’s Telugu blockbuster ‘Nuvvostanante Nenodattana.’

The Telugu blockbuster was remade in Tamil as ‘Unakkum Enakkum’. Siddharth played the lead role in Telugu and ‘Jayam’ Ravi played the lead role in Tamil versions, Trisha was the heroine in both the languages.

For the Hindi version, Prabhu Deva has booked Shiraz, writer of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and cinematographer Kiran Deohans.
