Locknow,July 14 (): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday alleged that his government will not accept farmers giving away their lands for the welfare of the development projects unless they prefer. The CM declared that farmers cannot be compelled to give away their land, it should be done after they accept and that too after giving due compensation to them.
The chief minister also added by saying that the state government is making arrangements to build a road that might link Lucknow with Delhi, but the land would be taken for the benefit of the project only if the farmers favours.
While addressing a meeting the chief minister said that generous compensation should be provided to the members of the farmers in return to their lands.
“Land should be achieved with the willingness of the farmers by providing sufficient compensation and if need arise after adjusting the contributing families in job, “said Akhilesh.
The chief minister expressed confidence that the state of Uttar Pradesh is slowly moving towards the path of development. He also stated that UP has a number of opportunities in order to achieve victory and with every one’s cooperation there is no doubt the state is going to reach the mile stone.
The CM noted for the benefit of the state it is necessary to work on various fields, including infrastructure, education and health.
In response to the power crisis the CM of Uttar Pradesh assured to take strict actions against the blacklisted companies that are trying to provide poor quality transformers.
Asthe Samajwadi Government is taking all steps to develop the supply of electricity in the state it will not hesitate to punish who ever found guilty providing imperfect equipment in future, added the chief minister. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also expressed his concern on improving law and order situation in the state.
