Mumbai, June 21 (): With the grand success of Akshay Kumar’s mega blockbuster ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Bollywood movie directed by Tamil director Prabhu Deva, is now seen among the Top 5 slots of Bollywood movies of all time. Akshay Kumar has come back to action movie after a long gap of 7 years and he has once again showed that he is the original ‘Khiladi’ of the Bollywood film industry.
According to box office collection, the figures say, Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ is in the top garnering Rs. 202 crore. Next comes Salman Khan’s ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Dabangg’ which have set Box Office on fire by amassing above 140 crores each. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ is now on its way to catch the place of Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ which has gathered Rs. 121 crores.
An industry professional confirmed that now Rowdy Rathore in its third weekend has comfortably exceeded 120 crores, leaving behind Ra.One with 115 crore and Agneepath with 120 crores. And it is now moving ahead to push down Salman Khan`s Ready with 121 crores.
The real trial for ‘Rowdy Rathore’ has started with release of Shahid Kapoor’s Teri Meri Kahaani and The Amazing Spiderman. It has the great task to withstand in the following weeks and the battle increases.
However, film analysts say ‘Rowdy Rathore’ would easily reach the Rs. 135-crore mark, which would be a great achievement. However, reaching the Dabangg and Bodyguard place, in which both have collected over 140 crore, would definitely be a challenge for Akshay’s Rowdy Rathore.
The upcoming releases of big stars of Bollywood in the coming months are also expected to reach the 100 crore mark. Aamir Khan’s Talaash, Shahrukh Khan’s (YRF’s untitled film), Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2, Ajay Devgn’s Bol Bachchan all are expected to reach the 100 crore mark.
