New Delhi, June 20 (): After the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar made an obvious statement on Tuesday by terming BJP’s Narendra Modi as an unfit candidate for Prime Minister, he was accused by the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat who asked Nitish to answer about” what kind of a human being will determine a good PM.”
While talking to the reporters the Bihar chief minister claimed that the National Democratic Alliance should come out with its Prime Ministerial candidate before the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and the candidate whom it selects to be the Prime Minister should be highly qualified and a broad-minded person, which paved the way for a new battle between Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
Nitish added that the BJP-led NDA should take its own time before making a decision in announcing its Prime Ministerial candidate. On the other hand, the Bihar CM was quite confident that his party will never accept Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
It is believed that Narendra Modi who is aiming for the Prime Ministerial post is being supported strongly by the BJP’s parental body RSS. BJP and the RSS term Narendra Modi as similar to Advani and Vajpayee as far as secularism is concerned, said Balbir Punj, BJP leader on Wednesday.
BJP’s Sushil Modi strictly said that whoever is being selected by the NDA as Prime Minister should be accepted by all same way as former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was accepted.
The Gujarat CM Narendra Modi was never adored by Nitish in the past as there was already a clash between both the CMs regarding Mr Modi’s comment on caste politics in Bihar to which the Bihar CM had replied angrily that he does not need any one’s advice.
Sources say that Nitish Kumar’s continued attack against Narendra Modi is for the sake of identification in the midst of Bihari Muslims.
