Box Office Collection: Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh scores Rs 42.55 cr

Hyderabad, May 21 (): Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, latest Tollywood movie, which is the remake of Salman Khan’s blockbuster Dabangg, which rocked the Bollywood Box office, has also smashed all the records at the Box office collection records of Tollywood.

Harish Shankar is the director of the film. It has collected in Rs 42.55 crores at the collection centres all over the world in the first week of its release. With collecting such a huge amount, it has created its own new record beating all the other old records.

Gabbar Singh did a good opening at the Box Office following a shattering response in Andhra Pradesh on the first day. In the first weekend, the movie earned Rs 25 crore nett at the collection centres. In its first week, the movie collected Rs 28 crore in the state alone. It is a huge record in the Tollywood film industry.

Gabbar Singh also received devastating response in the areas other than AP. The movie raked Rs 2.7 crore from the collection centres in Karnataka and Rs 2.00 crore were collected from rest of the areas in India. The collection abroad was also a huge amount of Rs 9.00 crore in the first week.

Gabbar Singh features Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan in lead roles. The movie received encouraging and positive reviews from almost all the critics. And also there are no big competitors for the second week. Hence, the movie is still showing good response in all centres. The next news is the movie is expected to go above 50 crore mark soon.
