Akshay Kumar says Prabhu Deva’s dance steps in Rowdy Rathore were not easy

Mumbai, April 11 (): Akshay Kumar’s most expected movie is “Rowdy Rathore”, which is an action movie. Akshay is returning to Bollywood with his action moves after a gap of seven years. He confesses that he has put a tremendous effort and hard work for the dance sequences when compared to the effort he has put for the action moves.

Rowdy Rathore is directed by Prabhu Deva who was the director of Salman Khan’s hit movie Wanted.

Prabhu Deva himself is a wonderful dancer and a choreographer. His dance steps are peculiar and he has a huge mass of fans. He has gained a pet name “Indian Michael Jackson”. Recently, he staged his performance in the IPL opening ceremony with International star Katy Perry and many Bollywood stars.

While promoting his movie Rowdy Rathore through the popular TV show “Dance India Dance” Akshay described the difficulty he experienced while shooting the song sequences in the movie.

Akshay said the dance step for the song of Rowdy Rathore where very tough for him to perform as the steps described by Prabhu deva were hard and very difficult.

The dance steps took a week for him to practise. The steps were very complicated to imitate immediately on spot. So, the steps taught by Prabhu Deva were practised for almost a week to do a final shot.

Sonakshi Sinha plays the main female role in Rowdy Rathore and the movie is scheduled to be released on June 15th.

Akshay Kumar’s recent release “Housefull 2” has earned a huge response. As per the box-office collection reports, the film has collected nearly Rs.50 crore in just four days from the day of release.

Akshay Kumar told he has worked hard in the comedy flick “Housefull2”, which has starred a huge crowd of popular Bollywood actors and directed by Sajid Khan.

The same hard work is put in in Rowdy Rathore too. So, Akshay Kumar expects Rowdy Rathore also to hit the box-office just as Housefull 2 is doing.
