Mumbai, April 1 (): Salman Khan has done a friendly agreed to do an item song for Ajay Devgan’s forthcoming film, Son of Sardar.
Salman Khan will not even charge a single paisa for the item song. Salman khan fees for an advertisement of just 8 seconds worth 8 crores, but well friendship is more valuable than money for him.
Salman and Ajay Devgn’s have done work together in a few movies like “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” and “London Dreams”.
As Ajay offered Salman to do the song, he immediately agreed to do the song and that too free of cost. The song will be shot in a studio Mumbai, where a special set will be built for the song. Last year Ajay had even done a cameo in Salman’s film Ready.
Son Of Sardar is Ajay’s home production being directed by Ashwini Dheer. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and Sonakshi Sinha.
Along with the director Ashwini (Dheer), his associate Kumar Mangat and a couple of others, Ajay was discussing about the picturisation of this peppy track. And then they thought of roping Salman in for the item song.
Ajay and Salman became friends while they were shooting for London Dreams. It was reportedly Ajay’s idea to cast Salman in this item song. Not only this, Ajay also told his director Ashwini Dheer to build a special set for this song in Mumbai studio, so that Salman will not have to travel too much.
“Besides, Salman has also started filming for his brother Arbaaz’s directorial debut, scheduled to release this Christmas. Since Ajay knows that this film is very important to Salman, he’ll be shooting the song in the city, so that Salman doesn’t have to travel too much for it,” says source.
And when Singham promos went on air, Salman often tweeted about Ajay building an enviable physique. That’s the kind of friendship they share.
